Fleet Monitoring
ENEXSA supported a customer in the design and deployment of an EBSILON-based fleet-wide performance monitoring system for 13 power plants, including ENEXSA's Data Processing Service (DPS), Distributed Calculation Service (DCS), and a cloud solution.
Customer: A US-based electricity supplier serving over 5 million homes.
ENEXSA modeled an entire power plant site consisting of two CCGT blocks, a biomass CHP plant, a residual fuel cogeneration plant, district heating peak load boilers and a district heat storage facility in a detailed EBSILON model. By simulating operation over the entire course of the year, various technical expansions and alternative operating modes could be evaluated most realistically.
ENEXSA provided the Plant Accounting and Settlement System (PASS) for the Al Kharsaah Solar PV Power Plant 800 MWp in the State Qatar. This plant covering an area of 10 km2 was the first of its kind in the State.
Customer: Siraj (1) Company, the project company for the Al Kharsaah Solar PV Power Plant, is owned by QatarEnergy Renewables Solutions (60%) and Marubeni Corporation & Total Energies (40%).
ENEXSA supplied the Plant Accounting and Settlement System (PASS) for the Taweelah RO Independent Water Plant in the United Arab Emirates. This reverse osmosis seawater desalination plant developed by ACWA Power is the largest in the world and it was the first to be partially powered by solar energy from on-site PV modules.
Customer: Taweelah RO Desalination Company LLC – a subsidiary of ACWA Power, the world’s largest private operator of water desalination plants.
ENEXSA provided the Fuel Demand Model (FDM) and Plant Accounting and Settlement System (PASS) for the Myingyan Independent Power Plant in Myanmar. The combined cycle power plant developed by Sembcorp Industries was the first international power project with the Ministry of Electricity and Energy (MOEE).
Customer: Sembcorp Myingyan Power Company Limited – a subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, a leading energy and urban solutions provider headquartered in Singapore.
ENEXSA served as expert consultant producing detailed thermodynamic models in public tenders for large IPP/IWPP projects in the Middle East regions. In close cooperation with Marubeni’s development team, the OEM and the EPC, ENEXSA supported the bid development as well as the final negotiations and technical clarifications with the tenderers.
Customer: Marubeni Corporation, Power Division – a leading international IPP developer with a total net generation capacity of more than 11.5 GW in a diverse range of regions of the world.
